Built for the loads that break lesser inverters
Off-grid life isn't gentle. Bore pumps, compressors, welders and workshop machinery all demand huge surges of current the moment they start. The SP PRO is engineered for exactly this: it delivers a sustained surge well beyond its continuous rating, long enough to start motors that would trip an ordinary hybrid inverter. It's also genuinely local. Selectronic design and manufacture the SP PRO in Melbourne's east — when we need engineering support, we ring people in the same time zone who built the product. For a machine you're trusting with your household power for the next twenty years, that matters more than any spec sheet.
And it plays properly with solar. Through Selectronic-certified (SCERT) AC-coupled solar inverters, the SP PRO manages your solar array directly — throttling it, storing it, or feeding your loads — without the crude on/off control cheaper systems use. For new off-grid builds we now pair the SP PRO with RENOZ lithium battery banks — an Australian battery OEM whose systems list Selectronic compatibility. Australian-made inverter, Australian-supported battery, installed and maintained by a local electrician. That's the whole supply chain within reach of a phone call.
