The Green House Effect is Jerry Robinson's solar and battery practice, based in Healesville and working across the Yarra Valley and Melbourne's east since 2010. Solar, storage and off-grid power, designed for hill country by someone who lives in it too.

When you call The Green House Effect, you get Jerry — not a call centre, not a sales rep who's never held a crimper. Jerry quotes the job, designs the system, and stands behind it afterwards. If something needs looking at in three winters' time, the person who answers the phone is the person who installed it.
That matters more out here than it does in the suburbs. The hills lose power in every big storm, distances are real, and a battery system isn't a gadget — it's the thing keeping your fridge cold and your pump running for days at a time. We design for that reality because we live in it too.

Straight answers, sized from your data
Every job starts the same way: a photo of your switchboard, a recent bill, and a conversation about what you actually want your power to do. We size from your real usage, not a rule of thumb, and if a battery doesn't stack up for your place, we'll tell you that too. The best advertising in a valley this size is a customer who got a straight answer.
